Harlow B. HESS - 83, formerly of Augusta, of Lakeland, Fla. died Friday. The memorial service was expected to take place this morning in Lakeland. HESS was born in Ceresco and lived in Augusta until moving to Lakeland five years ago. He was a retired truck driver and was a World War II veteran. He was a member of the VFW Post 565 in Battle Creek, and was a Boy Scout leader. He is survived by his wife, Mary G. HESS, one son, Philip G. HESS of Spartanburg, S.C.; and one daughter, Kimberly S.
