Unknown, newspaper clipping - This is my 3rd ggrandmother.

Catherine Spicer was born in Cayuga county, town of Victory, state of New York, Aug 18, 1822. She came to Michigan with her parents at the age of thirteen years. She was married in 1848 to Henry Howard, who departed this life Mar 2, 1897. To them were born eight children, of whom six are living. Sarah L. Pierce, Acey Edgar, Fannie M. Wheeler and Aretas Hall, of Climax; Lyman D. of Battle Creek, and Amelia Drake of Cresco. Two step children, John W. of Climax and Mary J. Taylor of Kalamazoo also survive. She passed away at the home of her daughter Amelia Drake, January 30, 1909, at the age of 86 years, 5 months and 11 days.
(Note- Buried in Prairie Home Cemetery in Climax.)
