Passed away on Wednesday, August 3, 2005, after a long battle with Parkinson's Disease. He is survived by Norma M. Homrich, his wife of 57 years, three daughters, a son, and their spouses: Cynthia and Robert Couture of Fountain Hills, AZ; Marcey and John Short of Green Bay, WI; Ellen and Jim Gasta of Bay City, MI; and his son and daughter-in-law, Christopher and Deanna Homrich of Kalamazoo, MI; grandchildren: Christopher and Andrew Couture, Kristin and Steven Short, Amy Wells, and Lauren and Anna Homrich; and sisters, LaVina Higgins and Marcelline Fudge. Born July 4, 1924 in Grand Rapids, Michigan, the youngest of seven, Waldemar served in the U.S. Army during WW II in the 328th Combat Engineers: 103rd Infantry. He worked as a wholesale lumber dealer throughout his life. A devoted husband and father, he enjoyed music of all types, golf, travel, and correspondence by computer. Waldemar will be remembered by his family and friends for his kindness to others, the model of dign!

A graveside memorial service will be held on August 13th, 2 p.m. at Greenwood Cemetery, 1602 Greenwood Ave, Hamilton, OH.
