Passed away Thursday, August 25, 2005. She was born December 9, 1928 in Kalamazoo, the daughter of Jake and Florence (Irey) Burmania, and had been a lifelong resident of the area. Beverly had been employed at the Kalamazoo Regional Psychiatric Hospital for several years and loved reading in her spare time. She is survived by her husband, Joseph R. Wertz; her daughter, Denise Miller of Three Rivers; her granddaughter, Jordan Small of California. She was preceded in death by her son, Harold Small Jr. in 1998. In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place and no services are being planned. Arrangements by the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Comstock Chapel, 6121 King Highway. www.langelands.com
