Isobel Harvey, age 89, of Kalamazoo, passed away Saturday, August 27, 2005, at Park Place Assisted Living in Kalamazoo, MI. Isobel was born on July 22, 1916, in Sunderland, England, to Isaac and Ella Otterburn. She married Maurice Harvey in 1941. They moved to the United States in 1951, and resided in Kalamazoo their entire life. She is survived by a daughter, Maureen (Mike) Gallagher of Kalamazoo, a son-in-law, Neil Winkel of Schoolcraft; six grandchildren, Dan (Colleen) Gallagher, Erin (Andi) Gallagher, Heidi (Steve) Lockman, Lorrie (Chris) Wiessner, Brian (Amy) Winkel, Mathew (Kelli) Winkel; five great-grandchildren; a brother, Victor (Helen) Otterburn of England; several nephews, nieces and good friends. Preceding her in death were her husband, Maurice; a daughter, Christine Winkel; her brother, Billy Otterburn; a sister, Muriel Erwin; and her parents. There will be no service or visitation. Cremation has taken place by Avink Funeral Home. Memorial contributions can be !
