1907, Frank and Julia Giem, with their son Seth, on their Austin Lake Farm, East
Shore Drive. The farm was purchased by Frank's father, Albert, and his wife,
Sarah Rigby Giem, in 1889, moving from New Philadelphia Ohio to Portage
Township, MI. The farm remains in the Giem family.
