Passed away as the result of an auto accident, Saturday, July 28, 2007 in Athens, TN. Dianne was born August 8, 1963 in Kalamazoo, the oldest of three daughters of Henry and Carol (Armstrong) Lough. She was raised in the Comstock area, graduated from Comstock High School in 1981 and had been employed by Summit Polymers for 13 years and most recently by Stryker Medical for 10 years. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter and sister who was always dependable and giving and thinking of others. She loved gathering collectables of all sorts and trips to Daytona Beach, FL. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Ted and Lorine Armstrong and Minnie (Lough) Shaver. On July 14, 1998, Dianne married Steven Buchanan, who survives. Also surviving are her children, Stacee Provost of Portage, Andrew Provost of Comstock and Brandon Buchanan of Kalamazoo; her parents, Henry and Carol Lough of Kalamazoo; her sisters, Kathy and Jeff Wichmann of Dowling and Tammy and Curtis Vreeman of!
Comstock; her parents-in-law, Earl and Betty Buchanan of Kalamazoo; a brother-in-law, Todd Buchanan of Kalamazoo; a sister-in-law, Patti and Bill Spalding of CT; 3 nieces, Abagail, Paige and Katelyn; 3 nephews, Jacob, Logan and Alex; many aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Saturday at the Gull Lake United Methodist Church, 8640 Gull Road, Richland, with Revs. Stephen Charnley and Tim Vreeman officiating. Interment will follow in Roof Cemetery (North Climax Cemetery). The family will receive friends at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Galesburg Chapel, 145 W. Battle Creek St. on Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials should be directed to the Great Lakes Burn Camp, 1709 Northwest Ave., PMB 138, Jackson, MI 49202. www.langelands.com
