Roy Batson of Saranac passed away early Sunday morning at the home of his niece, Mrs. Miles Nelson of 410 Gilbert st., Grand Rapids. Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Phillip Ayers, a brother, John Brown of Saranac, and several nieces, nephews, uncles and aunts. Prayer service will be held Tuesday at the Gilbert st., address at 12:15 o'clock city time, and at the M.E. Church, Saranac, at 2:30 o'clock eastern standard time. Interment in Pinckney cemetery.
