MADSEN-Leon Madsen, aged 78, of 1632 Leonard NE, passed away early Saturday morning, November 22, 1980 at St. Mary's Hospital. He is survived by his wife, Nellie Madsen; two daughters, Dorothy Lemmink of Wyoming, Mrs. Mel (Carol) VerStrat of Middleville; one son, Lawrence R. Madsen and wife Lois of Grand Rapids, eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; five sisters, Mrs. Cecil (Elida) Perkins of Kansas, Mrs. Milton (Leonora) Peters, Mrs. William (Lillian) Issac, Mrs. Leonard (Helena) Boshoven all of Grand Rapids, and Mrs. Fred (Frances) Topp of LA. Two brothers, Arthur Madsen, Russell Madsen and wife Juanita of Grand Rapids. Mr. Madsen was a reitred partner in Madsen Automotive, and was a member of Calvary Reformed Church. Services will be held at 3 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at the Funeral Chapel, with Rev. Peter J. Breen and Rev. James DeWitt officiating. Interment in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Relatives and friends may meet his family at the Chapel from 2 to 4!
and 7 to 9 on Sunday and from 7 to 9 on Monday. For those who wish, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. (Envelopes available at the Chapel). Mr. Madsen reposes at the Reyers North Valley Funeral Cahpel, 2815 Fuller NE at 3 Mile Rd.

MADSEN-Russell N. Madsen, aged 84, of Grand Rapids, passed away Wednesday evening, May 4, 1994. He was preceded in death by his son, Robert; and survived by his wife, Nita; one daughter, Linda and Mike Brower of Ada; one son, James and Diane Madsen of Grand Rapids; four sisters; one brother; and several grandchildren. He worked for A&P Food Stores for 25 years. In lieu of flowers, please send contributions in the name of our loving father and husband to "Our Family Garden" of St. Lukes Church, 3215 - 4 Mile NE., Grand Rapids. A private service will be held Saturday.
