Go to www.wmgs.org - they have searchable databases for Kent Co marriages and also the Grand Rapids Herald and Press back to 1910. I found a Louis Wood listed in the Grand Rapids Herald 8/10/1911 and 8/23/1911 - they are both listed as "articles" which means they are probably more substantial (sometimes it's a murder or accident that's reported) - both listed on page 6.
