Chris, don't know if you ever got info on your family. I did some census checks for you. I found Maude as head of family in 1930 with brothers Floyd and Ross (Roscoe) living next door. I also found the LaPards in 1900 with Maude still single. I am willing to try and find a death record for Herbert, but I don't think it's a correct name. I couldn't find any census record for a match from 1900-1930. Might be able to find a marriage record and get a correct name.
