The death certificate of Garrit Van Wyk (Gerrit Jannes van Wijk) on 21 May 1906 shows that instead of at his home in Allendale, he spent his last 14 days at the place of his death, at 920 East Fulton in Grand Rapids. He was then buried at the Fulton Street Cemetery.

Was there a hospital or institution at 920 East Fulton in 1906?
