Subject: Airplane Manufacturing during WWII in GR

I am trying to locate someone who might have worked in the old Berkey & Gay
Furniture factory in downtown Grand Rapids during WWII (specifically 1943)
when B&G switched to airplane and airplane parts production. Possibly
someone has a mother or father, or grandmother or grandfather who worked
there at that time.

My own mother, Mickie Hofman (and now, for over 50 years Mickie Van't Hof)
worked there while a high school student. She worked on airplane wings and
de-icers for airplanes. She can't remember what type of plane it was. If
anyone knows of any individual, or of any website or book that has this
info, I would be much obliged!
