I too m researching the name Jaskiewicz. Have no idea if the lineage I am researching is connected to yours. Worth a try I say. The woman who I am researching is Minnie Jaskiewicz (the name appeared on my mother in laws marriage certificate). Minnie came from Lithuania and was married to a Joseph (Jaefla) Sweetay also from Lithuania. How or when she came to the states I do not know but she settled in/around Shamokin, PA and had 5 children with reumors of additonal 3 others. Childrens names were Blanche, Mary, Katherine, Frank, and Anna and the other 3 were rumored to be Vincent,Peter and JOhn. Minnie died in 1918 in Shamokin I believe.
