Many, many thanks for this information. As long as the family is called Billings and still in Sparta in the 1900, 1910, etc., records I can find them, so thanks for that. Also, thanks for the marriage record notice. I knew there was a Wheeler child living with the Billings family, but couldn't find a link to a Wheeler family. Mary Ann must have married someone named Wheeler then been widowed.

The Calvin I. Billings you mention is too old to be a child of Mary Ann and Galen P. Billings, so perhaps is a younger brother or nephew. Will have to explore that connection.
