Karen --

Thank you for your inquiry. I doubt that we are connected -- my MILLER family came from Henry Co., Indiana to Wayne Co., Illinois in 1871, and so far as I am aware, none of them ever went to Missouri. I do not recognize any of the names you mention. The immigrant ancestor on my line was Jacob Müller, a Dunkard who came from Germany or Holland sometime around the beginning of the 19th century.

I had Miller ancestors in this area during the same time frame. Their descendents moved first to Mississippi Co.,Mo. and then to Detroit(abt 1930s). The moves followed employment opportunities. I am though interested in my oldest known ancestors parents and siblings.
I am wondering if they could be connected to your Millers?
Peter Miller born abt. 1838 according to census and Bible. He was a prussian immigrant and married in 1865 to Dorthula Gibboney in St.Mary, Mo. His son was born 3 years later in Wayne Co. IL., (Thomas Herbert Miller). They lived in Cape Gireardeau, for a few years and my g grandmother, Lottie Mae Miller was born there. Do you think that my Peter Miller could be related to your Millers?
