Who were parents of my ancestor Moses Mills, born ca 1747,
died 1833, entered Rev. War 1776 from Halifax Co., VA,
married 1787 in Charlotte Co., VA to Keronhappuck Rather,
dau. of James and Lucy Rather? Family moved to Elbert Co.,
GA where they lived for many years before moving to
Fayette Co., GA.Their children were William, James and
Martha Clabourn Mills. William married Nancy Brown and
remained in Elbert Co. James married Nancy McMullan and
moved from Elbert to Fayette Co., GA. Martha married
Richard Phipps in Elbert Co. and also moved to Fayette Co.
Was the Clabourn name of Martha from the Mills line or
the Rather line? Moses Mills died 1833 in Fayette Co.
