Are there any obituaries for a John Eliasz who lived on Fairchild Road in Macomb Twp.

John Eliasz probably died in the early 1930s. He is supposed to be buried at Mt Olivet, but the two times I have inquired they did not have him listed.

He lived on Fairchild Road and besides ELIASZ there would have been Gawlikowski and Gronek names mentioned in the obituary. I cannot get a death certificate because I do not know the date (or even the exact year although 1930 seems likely as people remember my great-uncle dying shortly after my grandfather (1/6/1930). John was listed in the 1930 census (which makes him alive in April). In his WWI registration he is listed as John Marcin Elliasz (with two 'l'  s).

I have earnestly searched the Dziennik Polski newspaper for him. I am working my way through 1930 (really the 1930s). My Dziennik Polski web site is:
http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~meliasz/detroit/DziennikPolski/DziennikPolski_DetroitMI.html

Yes, I am the Dziennik Polski guy.

I know he is not in the online database of Mt Clemens Library nor is he listed in the online database of death indexes for Macomb county because of the early date of death.

So I am hoping for an obituary, or someone at Macomb County clerk office (or near by) who can gain access to the off-site death records to seacrh 1930/1931 for me.

John Eliasz was born in Poland 12/6/1880 (although in WWI Reg his birth date is listed as:  10/5/1879). So in 1930 he would have been about 50 years old at death.

Thanks!
