LYLE FITZGERALD DIES IN HOSPITAL:
Lyle Fitzgerald, 68, Stanwood, died early Sunday in Kelsey Memorial hospital
after a long illness. He had lived most of his life in the Stanwood area.

Born Jan. 29, 1895, he married Erie Sedore on Dec. 6, 1916. He served several
years as Deerfield Twp. treasurer and as director of the former Bell school.

Survivors include the wife; a son, Geritt, New Jersey; two grandchildren; and
four sisters, Mrs. Vernon Woodruff, Detroit; Mrs. Sam McCloud, Portage, Ind.;
Mrs. Guy Kennedy, Spooner, Wis., and Mrs. James Fitzgerald, New York.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Youngman funeral home, Rev.
Peter Kunen officiating. Burial will be in Higbee cemetery.
