You can play a bit with the censuses Indexes on Ancestry.com. The 1910
census
gave me this:

Name Parent Home in 1910
Gaylord Vandercook William, May city, Monroe, MI

Name Parent or spouse Home in 1910
William Vandercook name city, Monroe, MI location
May Vandercook name city, Monroe, MI location
Lillian Vandercook name, name city, Monroe, MI location
Gaylord Vandercook name, name city, Monroe, MI location
Henry Vandercook name, name city, Monroe, MI location

They've tightened up what a search there will give you, but this might give
you a direction to
look. there are a lot more Vandercooks, but the above looks like it might be
this complete
family unit from my using it at different times
