In the 1932 obituary of Sarah (nee McClorey) McCarthy in Tuscola County, Michigan, the children of John and Elizabeth Mulgren (Mulgrew) are listed as the nephews and nieces of Sarah.Trying to determine the relationship between Sarah and Elizabeth - sisters or sisters-in-law?
John Mulgrew was b. Ireland, m. ca. 1888. Elizabeth Mulgrew was b. ca. 1862 Ontario. Their children (all b. Michigan) were Lillian, Edward J., Hugh J., John T., and Catherine. In 1932 they were all "of Muskegon."
Many of the family are buried in St. Mary's Cemetery in Muskegon.
John d. 1911.
Elizabeth d. 19 March 1924.
Would appreciate any information on this family, especially the maiden name of Elizabeth.
