I haven't meet a Mink researcher yet who doesn't have the Native American folklore it their family. I've heard it mostly from those who come from the Minks that settled along the KY/TN boarder. I'm saying it's not true but it is rather amazing that this family belief seems to be apart of the Mink surname.

I have not found any connection to it yet in our family. But ya never know.
