Kim, I'm sure must mean the Browning family I am familiar with. Dennis
Browning is a city counselman for the city of Saginaw. He was a police
officer here for many years. I happen to know his brother William
through a work relationship. I know that they grew up in the area you
mention. I do not know Williams address, but he does live in the
"sandhill" area of Saginaw Township which is what the area of Vincent
and Ring St. is known. I think his brother lives at 31 Congress Ct. B,
Saginaw, MI 48602. Or you could possibly reach him by writing to him in
care of the Saginaw City Hall, 1315 S. Washington Ave., Saginaw, MI
48605. I don't see Bill too much since he retired from the job I knew
from, but if I see him I'll let him know someone is doing research on
his family.
I'm not sure about when the Otto School was torn down, but I know it
wasn't there in the late 60's when I passed that corner every day being
bused into Saginaw to go to high school. You might want to try writing
to Hoyt Public Library, they may have some pictures of the schools they
could scan and send to you.
Hope this helps you a little.

Otto school was on the corner of Center Rd. and Gratiot Rd., and Vincent school was on the corner of Vincent St. and Ring St. They both are in Saginaw Township. Vincent school was tore down between 1958 -1965. I'm not sure when Otto school was tore down but I believe it was in the late 60's to early 70's.
