I received papers from the MS Archives on my Joshua Hadley with the
following.
"Register of Appointments County Offices
1812-17. In the bill this is how it is listed: Reg. of Com:RG2mf12
(p.26)--Joshua Hadley. The second sheet has Jackson County at the top. No
where have I found a state yet.

I am in hopes some of you might spot a name or two that pins down if this
was MS or TN. In fact for sure which state this Jackson County is in.
Some names listed in the papers: A few that are easier to read.

I hope some one knows where these guys were in 1816. That is the year my
Joshua Hadley is there.
