Can anyone tell me what the phrase Red-Irish mean? My husband's grandfather, James A.Edwards, was called that. His mother's name was Siotha Carter. We don't know if he was Indian and Irish or that he simply had red hair. We would like to prove a Native American heritage if it's there. If you know what it might mean I sure would appreciate it.
