LUMBARD, KLINE, GLIME
Vivian G. LUMBARD, 99, of 99381 U.S. Highway 19, Pinellas Park, Fla., formerly of Howe, Ind., started teaching in LaGrange, Ind., in 1914 at Lima and Topeka School and later at Silver Lake, Michigan Public Schools. She also worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse. She died Thursday, September 18, 1997 at Morton Plant Hospital in Clearwater, Fla.
Born on August 13, 1898 to Celia KLINE and Sidney GLIME, LUMBARD married Corporal Kent B. LUMBARD of the Michigan State Police in 1936 in Centreville. She was a member of the Eastern Star and St. Marks Parish.
Preceded in death by her husband, LUMBARD is survived by one daughter, Cynthia LUMBARD, Howe; two grandchildren, Daniel LUMBARD and Kimberly LUMBARD, both of Howe; four great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation is from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday at Shoup-Carney-Frost Funeral Home in Howe. Burial will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, September 23, 1997 at Riverside Cemetery in Howe.
