Do any if you know whether there are local newspaper articles about the
"local boys" that served in the Civil War? My G-Grand Uncle, Giles S.
Williams, was killed in 1862 during the battle of Antietam, and his son,
Oscar, was sent home to Burr Oak the following December where he died soon
after from disease. I appreciate any information about local or county
stories that might still be in existence. Thanks so much for your help.
