I believe for a 1856 marriage record, the Clerk's office will actually give
you a transcript of the record, all nicely typewritten on a standard form.
These records have been filmed by LDS and can be easily rented through any
FHL library in the world for $4.00. If you have the page number, you can get
FHL to photocopy for $0.25 and $0.50 if you don't. GSWC has these
microfilmed records as NancyK mentioned earlier.
