Temple Beth Emeth is part of the Genesis Project with St. Clare's EPISCOPAL Church. Actually, both facilities (TBE and BI) might have pictures of their buildings on-line. Worth checking.

Isn't the temple on Packard together with a Lutheran church?
My neighbor is a rabbi and attends at Washtenaw.

Subject: [MIWASHTE] Photograph of the 2 temples in Ann Arbor

Dear List Members:

My name is Julian H. Preisler and I reside in the Eastern Panhandle of West
Virginia near Washington, DC.

I am searching for a person who can take a color photograph of the exterior
of Temple Beth emeth located at 2309 Packard Road and Temple Beth Israel located
at 2000 Washtenaw, both in Ann Arbor.

I am researching American Synagogue Architecture and am in the process of
creating an e-Book on the subject. Photo credit will be given to the
photographer both in the research project and upon publication. If anyone can do
this for me or knows of someone who is willing to assist, please do get in touch
with me. Photographs can be digital (preferred), but I can also accept regular
print photographs and can scan them into the database.

I have photographs of many of the Jewish temples and synagogues in Michigan
and would also like to include the two from Ann Arbor. Originally from Detroit,
I am hoping to include as many synagogue buildings from Michigan as possoble.

I thank you in advance for your help and look forward to hearing from any of
you.

Sincerely,

Mr. Julian H. Preisler
