I've "rescued" an old photograph of Samuel KINNE which was taken at the E.
B. Lewis Studio in Ann Arbor, Michigan. The photograph is dated 1879 and
notes that Samuel is 10 years old at the time it was taken. Based on
limited research and thanks to the help of a KINNE Family Researcher, I was
able to gather the following information regarding Samuel and his family:

Samuel D. KINNE b. 12 July 1869 in Ann Arbor, MI to parents Edward DeWitt
KINNE (b. 1842 in DeWitt, NY) and Mary Churchill HAWKINS (b. 1846 in MI).
Samuel died 2 July 1904. Samuel had a sister Mary White KINNE who married
LeClair MARTIN and lived in MI, IA, and MN. Census information provides the
following additional information:

1880 census of Ann Arbor, MI:

Edward D. KINNE, age 38, born NY, a Lawyer, parents born CT/NY
Mary G. KINNE, wife, age 34, born MI, a House Keeper, parents born VT/VA
Samuel D. KINNE, son, age 10, born MI, at School
Mary KINNE, dau, age 3 months, born MI
Mary E. HAWKINS, Mother-in-law, age 65, a widow, born VA, parents born VA
+ 2 female servants + a boarder

I am hoping to locate someone from the family so that this wonderful old
photograph can be returned to the care of family. If you are a member of
