One Sylvan Twp cemetery that has not been catalogued, as far as I can find is Vermont Cemetery. It is old - I have family in it from the 1840s. I have walked the cemetery, but as I was not looking for Wheelers, I did not note any.

I suggest you contact

I am looking for the family of Lucius of WHEELER who was m the 1870 census of
Sylvan, Washtenaw, Michigan in 1870. He was gone by 1880. I think he died. I
found his wife in 1880 remarried to a Jacob GASS, with Lucius's children in
Gale, Marion, Kansas.

I would appreciate any help on when Lucius died, when Rebecca died, where they
are buried and if anyone knows if they left a will.

Does anyone know what cemeteries are near the Sylvan twp area? The Lucius
WHEELER family lived in Sylvan Twp, Chelsea Village area in the 1870 census.
Rebecca WHEELER(Lucius mother) born between 1789 and 1793 died between 1870 and
1880. Her son, Lucious P. WHEELER was married to a Harriet R. maiden name
unknown. Lucious died between 1870-1889 censuses. Harriet, his wife remarried
Jacob GASS and moved to Gale, Marion, Kansas.

There was a Josiah WHEELER who was married to Rebecca. He was born about 1783
in Connecticut. Before the move to Washtenaw, this family lived in Tecumseh,
Lenawee, Michigan. I don't know if Josiah WHEELER died in Lenawee or Washtenaw.
He died between 1860 and 1870.
