Hello All,

I am hopeing someone out there can help me. I'm up against a brick wall.
I am searching for info on my G-G-G-G-Grandparents Michel BENOIT & Josette LEMIRE.
I know they were in Malden,Sandwich,Essex Ontario Abt. 1796 when their son Charles was born. Do not know exact day or year.

Charles married at Assumption Sandwich in 1822 to Marie Archange MELOCHE.

Charles had the following children;
Sophia b. Jan 27,1824 Assumption Sandwich
Peter b. abt 1825 Assumption Sandwich marr. Theotiste Cabanac there
Mathilda b Oct 7,1826 Detroit, Wayne Co, Mich marr. Moses(Moise) ST. ANTOINE b. abt 1820 E. Canada & late 1849 they moved to Fond du Lac,Wisconsin where they farmed,raised a family & died.
John Baptiste b.Nov 16,1828 Detroit
Charles b. Aug 31,1830 Detroit

Does anyone have this line in their tree? I can find no additional info on Charles &/or his parents. Did Michele & Josette have any other children?

Any info /help would be very much appreciated.
