Detroit has been the center of much of Michigan's foreign language newspaper
publishing. This city's large number of eastern European residents has
resulted in several Polish, Romanian, Hungarian newspapers. While there have
been a handful of Arabic titles published in the state, only one Yiddish
newspaper, Der Veg, has been located.
