For those listers that are not in the USA,
there are lists for just about every state in the United States.
Then, each state likely has several breakdowns by COUNTY.
Each of these lists have a specialist or two or three, just like we have on the irl-TIP list!
And many of the subscribers are local historians who use the lists as a way to promote knowledge of their areas as well as doing some of their own genealogy work....and so they know a lot of people! In this case, maybe Agnes!

This is a very good link to keep on your favorites and the next time you have a question for a given area in the USA, submit it to the appropriate list, but be sure to also include your direct email address in your post, not just in the traditional address area ..... since you may not STAY on the list, or even subscribe....
Remember too, that some lists REQUIRE that you subscribe FIRST and then submit your query.... so remember how to UNSUBSRIBE....
I know that that there is a link to find a county for a city, but it escapes me just now.
Perhaps another has it at hand and can send to the list!

But, you can do a rather simple step to find a USA county that a city is located in and that is to put that "city state" name into google.com and then look for a link that comes up with .org in its link address.
Somewhere on those .org pages you will likely find a comment about what county the city is located in and then you can send a note to the appropriate rootsweb.com link...and if all fails you can send a note and ASK via their CONTACT US link!

I know that this is rather long, but I think it might help some listers in the future...

I am in TX but I looked on the web White Pages, and there was no Agnes
Comerford listed in Michigan or surrounding area. Sorry.
