Found in The Granville Record weekly newspaper printed on 27 Jan. 1905:
"WAS A SUDDEN SUMMONS. Mrs. Emma Reenders, Formerly of Norwich, Fell Dead on Street at Minot.
Minot Optic: Mrs. Emma Reenders, while enroute to the Great Northern passenger depot to take a train for her home in Rugby, fell dead on Main street below the Dakota hotel at Minot Monday morning about 10 o-clock. The body was taken to the McJennett undertaking parlors and will probably be taken to Rugby for burial tonight. Heart failure is said to have been the cause of death. Mrs. Reenders had been in Minot for a week or ten days for the purpose of receiving medical treatment. She was discharged as fully recovered by the attending physician on Saturday evening and was on her way to the depot to take a train when overtaken by death. There are said to be suspicious circumstances surrounding this death and there is a probability that the authorities may make an investigation. The dead woman's husband at Rugby has been notified and the remains are being held pending an order from him.
The deceased was the wife of Claud Reenders, formerly agent at Norwich for the Imperial Elevator Co., where they resided until about one year ago, when they removed to Detroit, Mich., where Mr. Reenders is at present in the employ of a street railway company as conductor, and is not at Rugby, as the Optic states above. Mrs. Reenders had been visiting her parents at Rugby for some time past."
Also printed the same day in The Granville Record:
"Heart Failure Cause of Death. Minot Optic: A brother-in-law of the late Mrs. Emma Reenders, who fell dead on Main street near the Dakota hotel on Sunday morning, called at the Optic last night and denied that there were any suspicious circumstances surrounding the death of Mrs. Reenders. He stated that three or four weeks ago while passing through this section of the state on a railway train that Mrs. Reenders was taken sick and having been previously treated by Dr. Hyndman of this city, stopped off in Minot to consult with this physician. He further stated that a number of members of Mrs. Reenders' family had died with heart failure and he attributed her death to no other cause. The dead woman was a resident of Norwich, instead of Rugby, as reported, and the remains were taken to that town for burial. The husband of the dead woman is a resident of MICHIGAN, and, it is said, has not lived with his wife during the past year."
Also printed the same day in The Granville Record:
"Dr. Hyndman Arrested. Dr. Hyndman was arrested at Minot late Wednesday night on a charge of an abortion on the person Hulda Eversole, who died Sunday night from the results of the criminal act of the physician, according to the verdict of the coroner's jury...."
