I am an desendant of John Finlayson & Ann Mather. I am trying to find the Finlayson families from Detroit Michigan who came from Canada in 1869.

Finlayson Children:
Flora Rowland died 1913 in Chicago,IL
Margaret Mather(actress) died 1896 while on stage in West Virginia.
Ralph died 1 December 1909 at 54years old at St.Mary's Hospital, Detroit ,Michigan
Alexander W. unknown
Philip, Baptized at Beechridge Church in Quebec,Canada


Listed below are some family members I can not figure out how they are related to John & Ann Mather Finlayson ?



Elizabeth Ewers died on 27 May 1944 in Bloomfield Township Michigan& buried with the Finlayson family in Elmwood Cemetery. She was the wife of Keith R. & the mother of Dr. John Mather Finlayson( died on 8 September 1953): grandmother of Mrs. Joseph Whalen,Mrs. Hunter Cutting,John M. Finlayson Jr. and Mrs. Raymond C. Brett: she was the sister of Dr. William S. Mather and Mrs. Rudolph Opperman.
