The Mormon Church (LDS) microfilmed the Wayne county marriage, birth and death registers. There is an index to the marriage records but some of the films are very hard to read. If you are in the Metro Detroit area, many of these films are on indefinte loan at the LDS in Westland on John HIx Road.
