I did a search for George Marangakis at Ancestry.com. The only thing that came up was the Social Security Death Index. So I clicked on that and to the far right is "Order Record." It gives the choice of Birth Record or Death Record. I ordered my father's death certificate this way. If you click on the person's name, a screen comes up that has a choice of birth or death records and a choice of SSN application. My problem with George is that I don't know the date he died. I'll ask my Aunt, maybe she knows.
