No one listed as Eileen Hemming nor is there any Hemming listed who died in Michigan in February 1989 in the Michigan Death Index, 1971-1996.

Possibly she was out of town at the time in another state. Could she have been in Florida? A lot of Michiganders go south in the winter.

SS only lists the place where they sent the check from what I understand which might not be the place they lived. My grandfather's checks went to Wisconsin because my aunt took care of his finances-he died here in Michigan but it could also have been several other states since he would travel, visiting relatives.
