I would be interested in exchanging genealogy with someone who is researching the Baut Family.

They originated in Bausendorf, Rheinland, Prussia. Eventually settling in Detroit.
The families German name was Baud, but was changed to Baut and sometimes, Bout, Boutt or other various spellings.

The sons of Ludwig Baud and Eva Britz living in Detroit, Wayne Co., Michigan were: Peter, Matthew, Paul and Joseph Baut.
