Martin MAJEWSKI was born in Poland on 29 October 1867, son of Wojciech and Michalina MAJEWSKI. He came to the U.S. on the S.S. Hermann to Baltimore on 17 November 1889. He married Lucy SKIBINSKA on 11 November 1890 in Detroit at Sweetest Heart of Mary Church. She was born on 28 November 1866 in Mieczewo, Poznan, Poland, daughter of Tomasz SKIBINSKI and Franciszka WOJKIEWICZ. She arrived in the U.S. at New York on 31 May 1888 on the S.S. Wieland. Their children were John (18 Sep 1891), Joseph (4 Feb 1893), Martin (7 Nov 1894), Edward (3 Oct 1896), Theresa (10 Apr 1898), Frank (2 Jan 1900), Andrew (9 Nov 1901), Marianna (25 Sep 1903) and Stanislaus (6 Nov 1908). Martin died on 7 September 1936 in Sterling Township, Macomb County, and Lucy died on 25 October 1950 in Detroit. Both are buried in Section C-J at Sacred Heart of St. Mary Cemetery on East McNichols. Would be pleased to share information with others related to this family.
