I have this infor posted in a board for DOWNOROWICZ but wanted to put it here, too.

I am trying to put together my Polish/Lithuanian roots based on the information I have from now deceased relatives. The info I have all revolves around their lives in the U.S. Trying to find them in Poland and/or Lithuania is the difficult part.

HIPOLET DOWNOROWICZ
Seeking: birth certificate or baptism record)
Born about 1883 in Lithuania (per a death certificate)
Died: Milford, NJ, Dec. 20, 1944 (date on his headstone)
Mother: Frances Mozieliewski (per Hipolet's death certificate)
Father: Peter (per Hipolet's death certificate)
