I am trying to find someone to go to the Detroit Library- Burton Historical Collection to check for the contract made with John Baptist Ouellette and provide me with the information.This would have been in the 1750's I believe when he settled in the Detroit River Region. The french government provided these men with certain things to get them to come and settle the Detroit area from this area from Quebec. Thank you for any help.
