Message Board Post:
Charles, Marcus, and Ira Lucia were three brothers who lived in Detroit. Charlie was a musician who lived there from 1911-1919. I would love to know WHERE he was a musician. One guess is the National Theatre as he later moved to Tampa and was a house musician at the Strand Theatre there. In 1937, Charlie, while on a visit back to Detroit, was reportedly killed and found floating in the Detroit River. Does that ring any bells to anyone? Brother Marcus Lucia was there from about 1911 to his death in 1941. He worked for the City and the County as a stenographer and, as far as I know, was single. Any other info would be appreciated. Finally, Ira Lucia lived in Detroit from about 1911-1949 and somewhere in there he briefly had a wife whose name MAY have been Hazel.
Finally, this family had some sort of ties to Clara Clemens (daughter of Mark Twain) because after she left Detroit, she visited on a several occasions with Ira Lucia and other relatives of his when she was back in Detroit on visits.
