Detroit News, December 11, 1915
TEAGAN, MRS. MARY: Dies at age of 85, mother of the late Justice John B.
Teagan and a resident of Detroit for more than 79 years is dead at her home
2387 West Grand Blvd. following an illness of three days. She was 85 years
old and was born in Ireland. Two weeks ago she celebrated her birthday and
held a reunion of her children and grandchildren. Surviving are the following
children. Wm. Teagan, Chief Clerk of the Justice Court, Miss Dora R. Teagan,
principal of Clay School, George E., Jonathan, Thomas, and Miss Sarah Teagan.
