Hi Thelma,

I don't have access to, or knowledge of an 1885 or 1895 MN state
census, but I think I found Martin and family in 1900 living in
Beltrami Co.

Martin Thompson, head, 32, b. Oct. 1868, married 10 yrs., b. MN,
parents b. Norway, Farmer, owns farm
Gustam, wife, 32, b. Nov. 1867, married 10 yrs., mother of 4
children, 3 living, b. Norway, parents b. Norway, Immigrated
1886, Number of yrs. in the US: 14, can't read or write, able to
speak English: Yes
Alfred, son, 8, b. Nov. 1891, b. MN
Arthur A., son, 7, b. Dec. 1892, b. MN
Mortimus, son, 2, b. Jan. 1898, b. MN
