The on-line 1880 US Census finally allowed me to find my trace a branch of my WADDELL family who had gone missing from Ontario, Canada. Father William was born in Scotland in 1808, emigrated to Lanark County, Ontario in 1820, then he moved to Lambton County, Ontario, where he was married to Minerva HAWLEY in 1841. Their children, all born in Plympton Township, Lambton County, Ontario, were:

George H. bc 1842, Hiram bc 1844, John bc 1846, Clarinda bc 1848, William Jr. bc 1850, Joseph bc 1855 and Margaret bc 1858. The move to Decoria Twp took place some time after 1865 as William WADDELL is mentioned as a settler in the Decoria Township history on the Blue Earth County website. William, Sr. and sons William and Joseph settled in Decoria. Son George and his wife Jane McKINNON settled in Danville.

I have no info on the other children, but daughter Margaret may have been married to a man named ALLREAD. I would like to find out when members of this family married and died, who their mates were, what children they had, etc., and I would welcome correspondence with anyone researching this family.
