the Ericsons
C Oscar Erickson (Johanna) born 5 Sept 1855 died 10 may 1921"father"
Johanna Erickson (C Oscar)20 Sept 1860 -20 April 1936"mother"
there is also a Gustaf and Johanna who are old enough to be parents of C
Oscar, but does not look like they are, but could be.

Gustaf Oscar Erickson (Lindstrom)
Svenska Tribunen of 2 June 1921 reported the death of Gustaf Oscar
Erickson who was born 5 Dec 1855 and died in May 1921. He had emigrated
to sunrise from tvid, stergtland in 1878 and was living at Lindstrom
at the time of his death
He was married in 1881 to Johanna Larson In 1883 he was selected to run
the County Poor Farm at Sunrise, a position he held until 1889
He was a charter member of Kost Evangelical Free Church and was an Amador
supervisor. He retired in 1899 and his farm taken over by Victor Toren
and wife, Gustaf's daughter and son in law . He made 5 retirement visits
to Sweden
His death on 10 May 1921 was caused by heart problems, He was survived by
sisters Mrs. C G Gustafson and Mrs. Olive John and brother August Ericson
of North Branch

Johanna 49 mother in law married 29 years 2 children 1 living

in 1900 amador Johann ericson mother in law born Sept 1860 is living with
them to US 1880 Elida born Wisconsin

1920 census shows Victor , Elida, Russell age 7 Carl W age 21 wife
Lillian 19 and daughter Bernice 1 5/12 says Elida born Minnesota

name spelled Thoren, Thoreen, Thoron, and maybe other ways.
