In the book, " Aus Preussen Nach Amerika", by Audrey K. Burmeister-Hicks there is some info on Hermine. Hermine Ottilie Bretzman was born to Karl Friedrich Wilheim Bretzman and Maria Friedericke Wilhelmine (called Wilhelmine)Rossow, 7-3-1873 in Heron Lake twp., Jackson Cty., MN. on June 26, 1893 Hermine married Rudolph Gust of Amboy twp., Cottonwood Cty.at St. Peter's Lutheran Church. They had 3 daughters, Ella, Esther, and Erna. Esther died at age 11. Other info on parents and siblings of Hermine. e-mail me at
