This cemetery is still in operation. It is a very large cemetery in Brainerd, the county seat.

You could contact the Crow Wing Historical Society and possibly they would have the old newspapers with the obituaries.

Otherwise the Minnesota Historical Society in St Paul has all of the state's old newspapers on file and they will do research for a small fee. They have a web site where you can order things.
